This is a no brainer if you are a regular patron of RSGs event’s and you want to make a difference to the community.

So Why are we doing this?
We have now completed the first phase of our build at RSG. The upstairs meeting room id now open and used by the group and the community. The leaders room extension together with the additional storage area is complete.
Stage two will see the current marquee which stands to the rear of the Hq dismantled and a new permanent steel structure take its place. The advantage of this is to ensure activities for the group can take place all through the year in a permanent covered area where the marquee can only be left up in the summer months.

As you can see this finishes off the build and enables activities such as Pioneering, messy mayhem, and general games to take place undercover. The canopy is 240sqm so its a huge space which has full planning permission, it just needs your help to fund it.

This is a fundraising initiative to raise a minimum of 60k to assist in the funding of the new extension canopy to the Hq.
So how can you help.
We are selling RSG VIP tickets. This is basically a loan to enable the build.
Cost
- £550 or 2 for £1000
Benefits.
- Priority free general admission to any of our events whilst the loan is active. This can be a saving of over £50 per year.
Repayment and options
- You gift us the loan and the ticket remains active for 15 years.
- We repay the loan in full (as soon as we can) and the ticket is cancelled on repayment.

Scouts VIP donation Build Fund Agreement
We aim to repay all the loans in ten years of the ticket being purchased. You will receive a VIP pass with your name on which is non-transferable and photo id will be asked for on entry to our events.
You can also make a donation to the build for any amount you wish. we fully understand that times are hard and we truly appreciate any amount that is donated. All donations will ne recorded and displayed in the new build in recognition of your support. Please use the link below to download the form.
With the outbreak and the effects of COVID19 still being felt it’s hard for many working families and this simply may be out of the question at this time, so we are asking that you send this on to maybe relatives friends and supporters of the group present and indeed people that have involved or benefited from the group in the past. Have they been a leader, helper, beaver, cub, scout maybe even a venture scout or a Rover back in the day? Well this is their opportunity to give the group a helping hand. As with all other charities our fundraising has been it very hard and we are committed to seeing this project through as we believe it not only has massive benefits for the group but also it will create a fantastic venue to be used for the village organisations.
