St George’s Day Parade is taking place on Sunday 23rd April. We will be meeting at Burton Library (parking available at Meadowside) for 10:15, ready to leave promptly at 10:30.

 

The parade route will be different from previous years, but we will still be finishing at the Market Hall for the service. Parents can view the service from the upstairs level of the Market Hall, but please be aware that the Parade is attended by all Scout groups in Burton so we may be unable to admit everyone.

Beavers  and Cubs should wear absolute best uniform: Beaver/Cub jumper, clean and ironed neckerchief, and school trousers or skirt. Preferably school shoes should be worn, or another plain black shoe. Please no trainers or brightly coloured shoes/socks. Typically we don’t wear coats unless there is really awful weather, so you may want to put some extra layers under your Beaver jumper as necessary.

We should be ready to dismiss from just outside the Market Hall by the St Modwen’s church gates by approx. 11:45.
